BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Athletics has announced that the highly-anticipated wrestling match between the 18th-ranked Mountain Hawks and top-ranked and defending national champion Penn State this Sunday, December 4 at Stabler Arena is now sold out. Only a limited number of tickets for Lehigh students and faculty/staff remain.
The current fixed-seat capacity for Stabler Arena is 5,770. Penn State’s last visit to Stabler Arena in December 2019 set a Lehigh on-campus home dual record with 6,047 fans. Two years earlier, the Mountain Hawks and Nittany Lions helped set a Lehigh home dual meet attendance record with a crowd of 9,896 at a sold-out PPL Center in Allentown.
Penn State’s last three visits to Bethlehem have produced crowds larger of 5,900 or better and the top three home dual meet crowds in Lehigh wrestling history. In addition to the 2019 and 2017 duals, Penn State’s visit in February 2016 drew 5,909 fans.
