NORMAN – The Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team will be featured four times on ESPN networks during the 2023 season, the Big 12 Conference and ESPN announced Tuesday afternoon. The slate includes two of the most anticipated matchups featuring the second and third-place finishers of the 2022 NCAA Championship Finals.

In its Jan. 22 home opener, the Sooners will face Pac-12 opponent Utah for a showdown in the Lloyd Noble Center at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN. The Utes are coming off a third-place finish at the 2022 NCAA Championships.

To kick off the month of March, OU welcomes SEC foe and NCAA runners-up Florida in Norman for a rematch of the 2022 NCAA Championships on Friday, March 3. ESPN2 will broadcast the matchup at 8 p.m. CT.

The last road challenge of the regular season will feature the 2021 NCAA champions Michigan hosting the Sooners, the defending NCAA champions, in Ann Arbor on Monday, March 6 at 4:30 p.m. CT on ESPNU.

The 2023 Big 12 Championship hosted by West Virginia in Morgantown will be in primetime on Saturday, March 18. OU, Denver, Iowa State and West Virginia will vie for the conference title at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU.

The journey to the NCAA Championship will run through Norman with the NCAA Regionals coming to the LNC for the second-straight year from March 29-April 1. For the third consecutive season, ESPN will broadcast every round for all four regional sites on ESPN+.

Both NCAA Championship semifinals will air on ESPN2 with finals on ABC. The championship will take place at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, April 13-15. The semifinals are set for 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 13, with the finals slated for 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 15.

Additionally, SoonerVision on ESPN+, will air three home matches, beginning with the conference home opener against Iowa State at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Feb. 3. For more information on how to watch, click here.

The Sooners return eight gymnasts who combined for 20 All-America honors in seniors Ragan Smith, Olivia Trautman and Allie Stern; junior duo Audrey Davis and Katherine LeVasseur; and sophomores Jordan Bowers, Danielle Sievers and Danae Fletcher.

Trautman and Stern have opted to use their extra year due to COVID-19. In addition to the returners, the Sooners bring in freshmen Faith Torrez and Ava Siegfeldt, who are both former elite gymnasts.

SEASON TICKETS ON SALE

Season tickets for the 2023 season are currently available for purchase. Reserved season tickets are $50 each. General admission season tickets cost $25 for adults, while senior (55+), youth (6-18), OU faculty/staff and letterwinner season tickets cost $20. Discounted tickets are available for $3 for groups of 10 or more. Group tickets must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to the event.
