After coming out undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, the 21-year old 7’2 center Moses Brown has been making waves with the Oklahoma City Thunder this 2021 season. The undrafted big man Moses Brown has been sent to the NBA G League as part of the OKC Blue together with Serbian rookie Aleksej Pokusevski and he totally dominated. GM Sam Presti and The Thunder have rewarded Moses Brown with a 4-year 6.8 million deal. And after being recalled by the Thunder, the young center has been playing well lately. And Moses Brown’s double-double of 21 points and 23 rebounds against the Celtics got the attention of fans. Coming out of UCLA in college, Moses Brown was always seen as a good young player with tons of potential. But right now, Brown has been realizing his scoring, rebounding, and defensive skills after having more minutes on the floor after center Al Horford being shut down for the rest of the season. But with the Oklahoma City Thunder rebuild just getting started and with the Thunder’s stockpile of first round picks, did they already land their center in undrafted center Moses Brown? Head coach Mark Daigneault has praised Moses Brown for his play but can he really be a huge part of the OKC Thunder’s young core together with Pokusevski, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the rest of them? Can Moses Brown chin up for real? The Cleveland Cavaliers recently signed Moses Brown to a 10-day contract.
